Community Impact – Expanding Access in Remote Areas

Akkaradent Co., Ltd., the developer of Dentbooster, recently joined hands with Hillkoff to support a community outreach initiative aimed at improving oral health among farmers living in remote areas with limited access to dental care. Through this collaboration, the program delivered oral health promotion activities and practical dental care support to local communities.
The initiative featured Dentbooster, a tooth-desensitizing gel developed from Thai research by Asst. Prof. Dr. Khrongkhwan Akkarachaneeyakorn from the Faculty of Science, Kasetsart University. Dentbooster is an innovation based on advanced dental biomaterials research, designed to help relieve tooth sensitivity at its root cause while strengthening tooth enamel. The gel is easy to use and suitable for daily oral care, making it particularly beneficial for people in communities where access to professional dental treatment may be limited. The innovation has also been recognized in several international innovation competitions, reflecting the global potential of Thai research and technology.
In collaboration with Hillkoff, the activity focused on promoting oral health awareness and improving the well-being of residents in Ban Pang Kuet – Ban Pang Eak communities, Inthakhin Subdistrict, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province. By bringing knowledge, innovative solutions, and care directly to the community, the program aimed to empower local farmers to take better care of their oral health and overall well-being.
